Interns and trainees are given as much responsibility as possible. Typical assignments include drafting correspondence, legal memoranda, meeting notes, and corporate documents, performing due diligence and legal research, attending client meetings, and participating in other transactional matters.
The two-year training program includes work in at least three different practice areas (from among capital markets, mergers and acquisitions/private equity, technology transactions, and litigation/arbitration), as required by the Law Society of Hong Kong. We believe secondments are an invaluable part of your development, so trainees may also gain experience at one of our international offices through our trainee exchange program.
All interns and trainees will have an opportunity to work with lawyers from (and qualified in) a wide range of jurisdictions, directly within the Hong Kong office and also indirectly within our network of offices across Asia and the world.
